Informative Billing Options
Hawaiian Eye Center wants to make it as easy as possible for you to afford our exceptional eye care services. The following billing information shows you just how easy it is to get the best eye care on the islands.
Hawaiian Eye Center participates with most insurance plans and will complete and file the insurance forms for you. Insurance plans differ, so feel free to discuss how your particular plan works and what it covers with one of our billing information specialists. If you have no applicable insurance coverage, we can usually extend you a “cash discount” if you pay in full at the time of the service. We accept cash, check, MasterCard™, Visa™, Discover Card™, and American Express™.
We also have convenient payment plans well suited for those seeking procedures not covered by insurance or those who have no insurance. Check out one of our easy financing options through Care Credit.
In some cases, you may need a referral from your primary care doctor to be eligible for insurance coverage. Please be sure that your insurance information is up-to-date and that you are eligible for coverage. We will be happy to review your coverage with you.
Billing Information for Rejected Insurance Claims
Please note that if you require an authorization which you have not obtained, or if the insurance information you gave us is inaccurate, we may not receive payment. If this occurs, you will be responsible for paying all charges not paid by your insurance. If we do not participate with your insurance plan, we can still complete all of the forms for you so you can be reimbursed.
Major insurance plans are welcome at all of our locations and if we do not participate with your insurance coverage directly, the staff at Hawaiian Eye Center will do all of the paper work for you and file it with the insurance company on your behalf.
