Eye Glasses

In most cases, the reason for wearing glasses is to correct the vision. They don't usually do anything permanent to the eyes, but allow people to see better when wearing them. A large percentage of the population relies on glasses either for clear distance vision, for reading vision, or both. Glasses can be worn as little or as much as needed, unless your doctor recommends otherwise.

For people who are completely dependent on glasses for all daily activities, modern surgical procedures such as LASIK, CK, lens implantation, and lens exchange can provide a new world with significantly less dependence on glasses or contact lenses.
