Hawaiian Eye Show: How do I know if I have glaucoma and what is a narrow angle and what is angle closure glaucoma?

In this week’s episode of the Hawaiian Eye Show, Dr. Tortora spends time clarifying why some over-the-counter medications include a warning that they shouldn’t be used in people who have certain forms of glaucoma. There are two forms of glaucoma, open angle glaucoma, and narrow angle glaucoma, and only people with the more unusual form of glaucoma, narrow angle glaucoma, are at risk when they take certain types of over-the-counter medication.  Most glaucoma patients are not at risk.  Listen to find out more about the difference.
