Our Services

Office Visits

Our doctors are available both on Oahu and in Hilo on the Big Island to care for your eyes. Please call our offices to make an appointment, or click the “contact us” tab. We try to schedule urgent problems as quickly as possible. There are several types of appointments. Complete examinations and first visits may take 1½ to 2 hours. Treatment or follow up appointments may require an hour or sometimes longer. We often use eye drops that may temporarily blur your vision and make your eyes more sensitive to light. Some people find it difficult to drive following an eye examination. If you don't know how your eyes will respond, please arrange to have someone bring you home after your visit.

When you come to see us, it is important that you bring several items. Please bring all eye medicines that you are currently using. In addition, please bring a complete list of all medications of any type you are using, including vitamins and other supplements. If you prefer, you may bring your medicine bottles with you. In addition, please bring your eyeglasses with you, even if they are broken or you rarely use them. If you wear contact lenses, bring backup glasses along in case the doctor recommends against contact lens use after the examination.
